Core System for AOMS (Airports)

Airline/Airport business solutions are web-based cloud solutions accessible from desktops or mobile devices anywhere Internet access is available. It provides key performance metrics, dashboards and reports tailored for your airport operations staff, management and executives. Its intuitive web browser interface is easily navigable and requires no training. Its ability to aggregate data from various sources such as flight, gate and user provided input onto interactive maps and dashboards makes it invaluable as the common airport operations picture.

Access/Security

Airline/Airport services are delivered through the web on any device utilizing the subscriber’s web browser and a secure login. The intuitive interface does not require end user training. Access is password protected and utilizes SSL encryption for session privacy. The user session maintains a credentialed environment during browsing and does not require re-authentication across the various service components as the user navigates.

Features

The service allows authorized airline/airport personnel to access the tailored web-pages that enable navigation to specific topics of interest. For Example:

  • An airport specific homepage customized with your logo.
    1. Interactive Map Tab: This feature allows the user to see an interactive map-based common operating picture of the airport property and gates including aircraft that are at the gate or scheduled to arrive within 15 mins. Ad hoc notes can be added to the map and remain active until removed. The map supports layers of information so the user can turn on or off layers to display just the information needed at that moment. For instance, gate designations or notes can be turned on or off.
      1. Dashboard Tab: The dashboard view is a compilation of key operational metrics to include gates status for each individual airside, a national map including a delay indicator at major hub airports that impact the airport’s operations, a current summary of flight delays (both arrival and departure) and cancellations, gate utilization, and the daily flight/passenger profile. Additional dashboard components can be added per airport requirements.
        1. Airside Tab: This feature allows the user to see an interactive, current schedule of arrivals and departures grouped into airport defined time windows and separated by airside terminal. Passenger estimates are provided summarized by security checkpoints. Diversions and inbound/outbound cancellations by airside associated with the airport are identified.
          1. Landside Tab: This feature allows the user to communicate and document operations within the airport terminal and perimeter areas such as roadways and parking.
            1. Reports Tab: This feature allows interactive access to airport defined formatted reports that display available data pertaining to Daily Flight Profile, Daily Passenger Profile, Passenger Forecast Summary, Bag Forecast Summary, On-Time Performance, Cancellations, Taxi Times, Delay Summary, Gate Utilization, tailored airport Daily Reports and Common Use Gates. These reports can be exported to various desktop editable formats such as Microsoft Office. Reports can be sorted and ordered, such as by airline or equipment type to provide specific context. This provides executive level summaries and detailed reports which aid the identification of trends. Summary data can be further investigated through pre-built drill-downs that enumerate supporting details on many reports.
              1. Weather Tab: Weather products are selected and tailored to best serve airport users relative to general awareness and safety.

              The Service continuously calculates and displays key metrics that auto-refresh at an airport defined interval during the active web session. Appropriate reports accept user input to determine ranges, time values or other adjustments to the analytics. The Service provides access to subscriber-specific flight data from Jan 2010 to present. Data is retained in the system allowing the user to view historical operational information and reports.
